About the event
This optional additional workshop is available to attendees (men and women) of the morning retreat "Show Me Your Glory" for an additional fee. You will need to register again.
The Creative Prayer Workshop is for retreat attendees who desire to move from reflecting on John 11 where we consider how God's glory is revealed and displayed in our lives in hard times, often through challenging or painful seasons, to reflecting on an offering of worship like Mary's anointing of Jesus in John 12.
John prefaces the story of Lazarus' death with a reference to Mary's anointing of Jesus. Then after the story of John 11, that describes uncertainty, risk and pain, waiting, grief, struggle, faith, hope, and resurrection that the friends of Jesus experienced, John 12 follows. Mary annoints Jesus' feet with costly oil, costly worship.
